Tree list part 2
The letters after the trees on the list show in which part of the garden they can be seen. The date on the labels is the year the tree was introduced into the U.K. We would welcome comments and/or corrections.
The oldest trees are near the house - the laburnum to the S.E. and the ash by the N.W. corner, both c 1755. Some rhododendrons, cedars and the big Wellingtonia date from the 1890's.The young trees were planted after the storms of 1984 and 1989.
