Attadale Gardens
Wester Ross
Conservatory
The conservatory on the front of the head gardeners house has been remodelled internally this year. The old benches with serried ranks of pelargonium and fuchsia have been replaced by drystone walls, and a miniature watercourse and pond to provide the right conditions for exotics from subtropical climes.
Kitchen Garden
The traditional kitchen garden, a legacy of earlier days, where plants are propagated for the garden and for sale, also provides vegetables and soft fruit for the house and salads for the local hotels and restaurants.
The sales area in the tunnel sells a great variety of ferns and mainly damp loving plants and gives a chance to meet the gardeners.
The gardens looks good, the Japanese garden has developed well and the new fern beds look good
